ABOUT

Maryanna Tollemache is a spunky and earnest autistic theatre artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Bursting from that 5'2" body is a fierce belt that thrives within both contemporary musical theatre and pop/rock worlds, alongside a warm legit soprano that sits within golden age. She may look and play your girl-next-door well, but deep down she is an angsty, artsy, driven playful weirdo who's ready to make your shows alive!
Outside of performing and directing, Maryanna has a love for baking for her roomates, the visual arts (collaging and printmaking), and being a disability advocate.
While attending Marymount Manhattan College, she found herself in multiple Disability Studies courses that ultimately changed her life as a disabled artist! Maryanna loves to play with and explore pieces engaged in disability canon, or even what it could look like to add a disability lens to shows without one already. She prides herself on her continuation of Disability Studies outside of school, pushing for Disability Representation and Equality, and being the autistic artist she wanted to see growing up.
